For more than 25 years, I’ve called Ward 2 home — and I’ve spent those years standing up for our community.
As Chair of MIRANET and President of the Meadow Wood Rattray Ratepayers Association, I’ve had the privilege of advocating for our community on issues including responsible development, property taxes, environmental health, transportation, safety and neighbourhood stability. I’ve advocated for our schools and students, received the 10 year award from the Peel District School Board, served on community advisory panels, supported the Museums of Mississauga and been honoured with a City of Mississauga Civic Award of Recognition by former mayor Hazel McCallion.
I know our community. I know the issues. And I know that Ward 2 deserves a strong, independent voice at City Hall. I’ve been doing that work for years and I’m running because I believe we can grow Ward 2 while protecting what makes our neighbourhoods special — and because residents deserve someone who will listen, speak up and do the work.
I’m Sue Shanly. I’ve been serving Ward 2 for years. Now I’m asking for your vote to serve you at City Hall.
