Message from Sue
For more than 25 years, I’ve called Ward 2 home—working, raising a family, and standing up for our community.
As Chair of MIRANET and President of the Meadow Wood Rattray Ratepayers Association, I have had the privilege of advocating for our residents at Mississauga City Hall and the Region of Peel. I have spoken out on key local priorities, including property taxes, responsible development, neighbourhood stability, environmental protection, transit, and community safety.
I know our community. I know the issues. And I know that Ward 2 deserves a strong independent Councillor at City Hall. We don’t need a Councillor that represents self-interest, special interests, or political parties, but a Councillor that speaks for the people. I have already been doing this for many years, and I’m running because residents deserve someone who will actually listen, speak up, and deliver results.
I’m Sue Shanly. I’ve been serving Ward 2 for years, and now I am asking for your vote to represent you at City Hall.
